Bible in one year: Ezekiel 7-12

*TIME IS LIFE*

*“Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts into wisdom”, Psalm 90:12*

The earth is governed by time. Everything here on earth including Man is subject to time. Though man is an eternal being by nature, his sojourn here on earth is subject to time. Our spirit and soul are eternal but our bodies are time bound.

The realization that we do not have forever should produce a sense of urgency and alacrity every man to make the most of every second in preparing for eternity. Time like a wise man said is an opportunity to prepare for Eternity.

While Eternity is immeasurable, time has limits and bounds. God has set limit of time for man on the earth. Since the days of Noah, the average days of man here on earth has been reducing. *“The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away”, Psalm 90:10*

Using the upper limit of 80 according to the above scripture, subtract how old you are from it and check how many years you have left. If you do this you will be able to tell how many years you have left with strength and vitality to sow the seeds that you would reap later in life.

We must always keep in mind the productive time we have left here on the earth and invest it judiciously. Don’t fall for the deception that you have all the time. In Nigeria now the life expectancy ratio is below 50yrs. As people of covenant, We are exempted from this by faith, living and eating right. However that is not to be taken for granted.

_*“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, I have no pleasure in them”, Ecc12:1.*_

*PRAYERS*
*Teach me to number my days, that I may apply our hearts into wisdom and let your work appear unto me. Amen*
